Accommodation:

The boarding houses, in which 110 children and young people live and learn together, are grouped around the former hunting lodge. The 12 boarding school families are made up of six to ten girls or boys each, for whom two teachers are responsible. A total of 30 teachers are on duty and support the students around the clock, both during the week and at weekends. The work of the teachers is professionally complemented by the work of social pedagogues, professional coaches and counselors as well as a psychologist.

The food is freshly prepared and offers a balanced variety of meals, including vegetarian and special dietary options. Students enjoy communal meals in the school cafeteria, which promotes social interaction. The school prioritizes healthy, regional ingredients to ensure a nutritious diet for all students.

The Boarding Houses are closed during Christmas and summer vacations. For students who don’t travel home, the school works with partners to find an opportunity to attend an intensive German course. International students often spend their home weekends or short vacations with their German school friends.

Excursions to Berlin and cultural sites such as Neuschwanstein Castle, Heidelberg or Wartburg Castle are regularly on the program.
